[pictures] China Glaze Specialty - Preppy Pink and Cosmic

Hi ladies,

I've just changed my nail colors. Here's a quick review on China Glaze Specialty collection.

As you can see in the picture, i'm using China Glaze - Preppy Pink (CG80388) as the base and China Glaze - Cosmic (80399) as the tip. Both are all glitter colors. I love the pink, very sweet and i painted 2 coats of it. As for the black tip, you cant really see the glitters unless you look closely.

However, this doesn't really seems that lasting. I've colored my nails 2 days ago and now the tips are starting to chip a little. Maybe i colored too many layers already? lol..

To use these pretty glittering colors, there's also a high price to pay. No.. not as in the $$$ but it's when you have to REMOVE the colors. Why? It's sooooo hard to remove!! Maybe it's the big and rough glitters that's kinda stuck on your nails? You really need PATIENCE. Anyway, hope you like the picture =)

Review - Essie Matte About You

Hi everyone!

After a long wait, i finally get to try - Essie Matte About You. Before reading on, you might wanna read about the product first from my previous post. Or you probably have read about this product on many websites which is highly raved.

I have decided to apply OPI DS Reserve (DS27) on my nails. Here's the picture

First i apply nailtek foundation II (ridge filling base coat). Followed by 2 coats of OPI DS Reserve. Lastly, one coat of Essie Matte About You. Viola~

You don't have to apply too much, just a thin layer to cover your nails with the matte finisher. It will mattify your nails in seconds. It's really that fast!

Diary Day 1 - Baby Foot Easy Pack (Foot peeling treatment)

Hi ladies,

I've been eyeing this product for quite sometime especially when it first hit Singapore (Guardian pharmacy) - Baby Foot kit. Well, during that time the packaging is in a form of cube box and priced around $59.90. I didn't buy coz of the price. When i went to Japan, i couldnt find it (it's from japan!!) argh... When i went to Taiwan few months back, i saw a similar product call - BeautyFoot. forgotten how much.. still brand new in my room at a corner and yet to try. haha! I found Baby Foot Easy pack from Hong Kong recently and the price seems very reasonable. around SGD$28... brought 1 box and FINALLY decided to try today.

I thought of blogging this highly raved product and see if it is really that good as it claims to be. Anyway, just by looking at the pictures and description, i'm already 90% convinced that it will work. We shall see.

Day 1:

Here's my foot before the treatment. haha.. as i wear heels quite often, so the middle part got the callus and the end of my feet is very dry and got dead skin.

Here's the socks with the solution inside. just have to wear them and leave it on for 2 hours.

Well, the booklet says my foot my start to peel in 5-7 days time and peel completely in 2-3 weeks. I will update again. please feel free to comment if you've tried. Stay tuned!

Day 5 *Updated 14 Sep 09*

Ok, just to rewind abit... the 2nd and 3day didn't really notice any difference. Yesterday (Day4) i did not check any peelings. Just now, all of a sudden i remember and take a look at my foot. WAH! it's peeling!! woohoo.. it looks a little scary though.. and now my foot is rough. i'm sure there's more to come since it's suppose to peel off everything?

Hi ladies, just sidetrack alittle. As you may have know that i just came back from Taiwan few days ago. I thought of sharing with you what are some of the items i brought from Taiwan. Well, the beauty industry is sooo competitive over there. Be spoiled for choice! The best part is, the prices are pretty reasonable.

Review: This is my first BB cream and i love the coverage. However it does make my skin look a little oily ( i have combination skin). So i guessed after i apply this, it's best to go along with the loose powder.

Spree #10 head2toebeauty review + pictures + product review

Hi everyone!

Just to share some of the pictures and reviews from head2toebeauty as well as some of the items that i've purchased and tried so far.

They gave me one free OPI teddy bear. haha.. Quite cute. Compared to 8ty8beauty, they are not as generous in terms of freebies. As you can see, the items are all very well packed and wrapped. I dont have to scare that the nail polish may break unlike 8ty8beauty (received broken nail polish few times).

Well, thumbs up for Head2ToeBeauty! They expedited my orders after being bombarded by my chaser mails everyday. haha.. Not trying to be mean, but hey, we want them quick! shhh... dont expose my trick =X

Yesterday i've tried some of the products while watching TV. You guys must really watch 'I survived A Japanese Game Show' haha... HAI, Majide! so funny~ Anyway, youtube also have.

Here's the reviews and items i've tried~

Item: Orly Nail Whitener US$2.95 (1 double packet) SGD8.00 (spree price/ comes in 2 packets as seen in the picture. They dont sell individually)

Description: Whiten yellow nails with this effervescent treatment. Nail Whitener gently soaks away unsightly stains on both fingernails and toenails.

Review: I used one packet for my finger nails. When i pour the powder into the water, the water turned white and with the zzzzz sound (like the ENO drink) so while its dissolving, i dip my nails into the water and move around for about 10mins (instruction says 5mins). lol... anyway, i cant really tell obvious results coz my nails are still yellowish. It does look a LITTLE better. Perhaps have to use a few times before seeing good results.

Review: This item is very cool! I'm so looking forward to try this and see if its as good as it says. Yesterday is my first application. Have to apply the hydrating creme first. This is not really a moisturiser. Coz it says, you just have to wash your hands to wet your hands to recharge the moisture. It's like a layer of protective creme on your hands.

After applying the creme, i've to put the masque over the creme. The masque is very sticky and thick. It somehow dry quickly before i finish applying both of my hands. Or maybe i did not apply enough creme to hold on the masque? Will try again today. But my hands did feel smooth after peeling off the masque.

i've searched online and read from a forumer that she brought the nailtek set at $75 and polish diva salon is charging $35 per session for this treatment. I think can use for feet also? Coz polish diva salon is charging $45 for foot. i assume they are using the same product for foot. So considering the price, i think it's quite worth it to buy online in my opinion.

Item: EzFlow Pro Shine Buffer US$2.45 / SGD$5.50 (spree price)

Review: This buffer is a MUST HAVE! It really makes my nails SHINE! You dont have to buff so many times also. First you buff your nails with the gray side to even out the surface. After that, (the best part!) use the white side and swipe a few times and your nails look so silky shine! I was like WOW... It really makes your nails look very healthy the way it shine. You dont really need alot of time to do this. Just 10 mins and you are on your way to beautiful nails! Btw, i just happen to saw one of the local website selling this at SGD$17.90?! I'm sooo loving sprees~~~ I think for a price of $5.50 you can just get a normal buffer in retails but here you are getting a PRO buffer.
