NOTD: Glitter and Neon!

Hi everyone! Awhile back I tried to do this combination to spice up China Glaze Blue Sparrow after it totally chipped on me. I kind of like how weird it looks, I don't know. I will call it "unusual", fair right? The silver glitter is Art Deco Silver Glitter. I will say that it saved me a lot of time from re-doing my nails because I had places to go and things to do! By the way I am loving Blue Sparrow, do you love it too?

China Glaze OMG

Hi everyone! I can't believe that I waited so long to hunt down this polish! It is so much prettier in real life than this picture can capture. It is a beautiful silver-rainbow holo polish! It wears really well and dried within a reasonable amount of time. I know that this polish is a favorite for a lot of you. I am scared to use it because I don't ever want to run out of it lol. Does this polish work well for Konading with?

Nail Art: Purple and Polka Dotted!

Hi everyone! Today I am bringing you something more fun! This is Parlez-Vous OPI and Chi Chi Cyber Vixen for the dots. I did use a dotting tool, there is no way that I could freehand that! I thought that this was a fun one to wear and I got several compliments on it, so yay! Do you like it too?

Zoya Luna

Hello everyone! Today I am bringing you one of the awesome Zoya ultra glitters, Luna. I got this in a swap with Kellie from Also Known As, and I was so excited about it! Who doesn't want their nails to look like disco balls?

This glitter is so shiny! I can see my reflection in the side of the bottle, these glitters are like little mirrors! The glitter is dense enough to be almost opaque in three coats and it glitters and gleams like none other! Did you get any of the Zoya Glitters, and did you like them too?

VNS Haul!

I am so excited! So this is my first time buying nail polish online; usually I need to see the polish in person before I will buy it. Lately there have been tons and tons of swatches of China Glaze's OMG collection, which came and went months before I got into nail polish. I really wanted some of these colors, so I swallowed my pride and bought some of them online. I also picked up a couple of other polishes to make the shipping worth it. I picked up OPI Mad As A Hatter (I haven't been able to find this anywhere, it has been sold out in my area!), China Glaze OMG, China Glaze DV8, China Glaze QT and China Glaze Recycle. I can't wait until the sun comes out so that I can swatch these awesome holos for you all. Sorry, I was just very excited and I thought that I would share. :)

KOTD: Jade Tiger

Hi everyone! So I have been obsessed with Konading a little bit lately and this is my latest combination, and I am loving the contrast in color and finish. I used the m57 plate with OPI Jade is the New Black and China Glaze Devotion as the stamping color. I really should think about getting some more Konad plates, which ones do you guys recommend?

KOTD: Silver and Dots

Hi everyone! Today I am bringing you a KOTD; I feel like I haven't done one in a long time! And frankly it shows, the dots aren't all lined up striaght and some of the dots peeled off a bit. It was my first time using this particular design, but I struggled with it. I feel like with a little practice it would look a lot better. I used OPI Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees Suede as the base color and China Glaze Devotion as the stamping color. I wanted it to be matte at first, but then I wanted to see what it looked like glossy. Which version do you prefer?

NOTD: Minty Silver Tips

Hi everyone! Lately I have been noticing the trend of makeing french tips a bit skinnier, so I thought that I would try it out too! I like how this mani is noticable, but it isn't uber flashy and still very wintery with out being Christmassy. I like it! I used Essie Mint Candy Apple and China Glaze Devotion for the tips.

I feel like the thin tips aren't thin enough, and make my nails seem shorter than they actually are. Next time I will do super skinny tips and see if it helps to make my nails look longer. Sorry about the mess and the really crappy looking cuticles; I haven't been taking care of my hands like I should be. The air has been super dry and I have been forgetting to apply hand cream and my Solar balm. I also apologize about the rambling, have a great day!

Nail Art: Purple Ladybugs in Spacesuits!

Hello everyone! I did kind of a strange mani today. I wanted to do a really exaggerated french today, but the lavender and silver where kind of meh together, so I stuck some dark dots on it. It was kind of weird to come to this mani, but overall I think that it looks alright! Like silver and purple ladybugs? Maybe?

I used OPI Done Out in Deco, China Glaze Devotion, and OPI Lincoln Park After Dark for this mani. I love the exaggerated tips because they make my nails seem much longer than they really are! Do you like the exaggerated tips too? How do you make your nails look longer?

Nail Art: Metallic French

Hey everyone! Today I decided that I really wanted to play with metallics, so I did a metallic french mani. It looks ok, I didn't like it enough to keep it on for more than half an hour last night (thus the crappy indoor pic). I exaggerated the tips a little bit; I think that it makes my nails look a lot longer!

I used China Glaze Twenty-Four K, Sinful Colors Bronze (LOVE this polish!) and Art Deco Silver. Have any of you ever done a finish-themed mani before?

And might I say Holy Cow Pies to the snow that is currently dumping buckets here! I heard on the news that it was freezing rain outside that could turn into snow. I looked outside of my window at 6:40 am to see rain, so I grabbed my rain jacket and put it on. I looked back up out of the window and it was snowing heavily, that is how fast the snow came. Although we are very used to snow here in Northern Utah, it has been a rather dry winter. Not anymore. Mother Nature is makeing up for it now. As much as I hate snow, it was so pretty! The snow is so fluffy that it all clumps togther as it comes down, creating huge snowflakes/clumps, it is really cool! I can't take pics because it is still very dark outside, but I am going to try to take some this afternoon and post them if you all would like that!

Chi Chi Cyber Vixen

Hi everyone! Today I am bringing you another swatch of an Aussie/NZ polish, Chi Chi Cyber Vixen. This was a gift from fellow beauty blogger Selina.

Cyber Vixen is a sheer-ish silver polish filled with small silver glitters. This was 2-3 coats and you can still see a slight visible nail line. This applied well and dried really fast. This is a very pretty color and I really like it! I love trying polishes from other parts of the world, it is so interesting! And now Kiwi wants to see it too!

Nail Art: Milky Way

Hi everyone! This is a simple design today, but I love how it turned out. I thought that it looked very elegant and classy. My boyfriend sees smiley faces. *Sigh* I used OPI Russian Navy, Art Deco Silver, and Art Deco Silver Glitter. Do you like?

New Year's Nails: Fireworks

Happy New Year everyone! I hope that it is a great one for you! Today I bring you a mani full of fireworks. In the United States some people set off fireworks when the new year turns, but for me it is far too cold to go outside. I hope that you all enjoyede your night, I know that I did!

I used OPI Russian Navy as the background color, Art Deco Silver, Art Deco Silver Glitter, and Art Deco Gold Glitter. Not the best-shaped fireworks in existance, but at least they look like fireworks! :)

New Year's Nails: Party Hats

Hi everyone! I hope that today is going well for you whether you are hosting a party, attending one, or sitting at home enjoying the evening. I *attempted* to do party hat nail art, but I failed. Sorry. I think that if I had made the background darker, it would have made it easier to see. I think that it is a cute idea, but poorly executed on my part!

I used China Glaze Metallic Muse for the background, Art Deco Silver, Art Deco Blue Glitter, and Art Deco Silver glitter as the hat pom poms. What fun things are you doing for New Year's? I myself am sitting at home enjoying it with my family. I have to stay up until midnight! I find that if I don't watch the glass ball drop in Times Square on TV, then there really isn't a new year; my brain can't process the beginning of a new year without it. Weird huh?

Mattified China Glaze: Metallics

Hey everyone! One of my new favorite things is mattifying metallics, so here are all of my mattified China Glazes for your viewing pleasure!

Devotion - Silver is so pretty matte, but I think that I love it more glossy!

Twenty-Four K - I like this one glossy as well, it just shines more.

Metallic Muse - I love this one matte, it looks so unique and special matte!

Harmony - I love this one matte too, it looks so sexy matte! Below is the glossy picture for comparison!

China Glaze Devotion

Hi everyone! This is Devotion from China Glaze's Romantiques colleciton. I have had this polish for awhile now, but I haven't gotten around to reviewing it yet (obviously lol) even though I use it a lot in konading. Did I mention that this polish konads beautifully? Because it does!

It is a metallic, so it exhibits the regular qualities of a metallic. It dries super fast but shows every imperfection on your nail. You can see brushstrokes a little bit, but it isn't that bad. I wouldn't wear this on its own as I don't think that it flatters my skintone well, but otherwise I love it and I don't think that I will have a problem using this one up! What is your favorite metallic polish?

Nail Art: Purple French

Hello everyone! Today's mani is actually from ealier this month, it got backlogged. I really like it though, I will probably sport this again at some point, after all who can deny metallics and glitter?. I got gobs of compliments on it, people thought that it was really classy in comparison to the obnoxious nails that I usually sport lol!

I used OPI Done Out in Deco for the base color, China Glaze Harmony for the tips, and Art Deco Silver Glitter as the glitter stripe. Do you love it too?

Nail Art: Bizarre Silver French

Hello everyone! I love how this turned out! I love mixing textures and applying it to classics, or fruit interpretations lol.

I used OPI Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees Suede as the base color and China Glaze Devotion as the tip color. I got lots of compliment on this bizarre french, I just wish that I had freehanded those lines straighter. Oh well.

So I wore this mani for over a day and I was too lazy to take it off; so I covered it in China Glaze Fairy Dust. I think that I like it sparkly better, do you?

KOTD: Vampy Flowers

Hi everyone! I actually really like how this turned out, I wish that it wasn't so dark outside so that I could capture its depth and sparkle better. I apologize for the indoor lighting!

I used China Glaze Lubu Heels as the base color and China Glaze Devotion as the stamping color with the m20 plate. I must rave about how Devotion konads, it comes out so crisp and opaque, and it is so easy to work with!

I really wish that I hadn't smudged this like, 5 minutes after I took this picture; I smacked my hand and messed up 4 of the 5 nails. I took this mani off and did a different one. Sigh...oh well! I may try this one out again in the future!

KOTD: Winter Contest Entry!

Hey everyone!!! Today I am posting my entry for Lisa's Winter Contest over at Nail Art World! If you haven't checked out her blog, please go do so because she is really inspiring!

I love how this turned out! I used OPI Russian Navy as the night sky, Sinful Colors Hottie as the glitter and China Glaze Devotion for the snowflakes with the Konad m20 plate. Do you love it too?!? This mani just makes me smile everytime I see it! Be sure to go and vote for the second place winner here! Go vote for your favorite, I know that my mani is def. not the best in the competition by a long shot!
