Sally Hansen Earthen Opal
Hi everyone! Today I am bringing you the other polish that I won in the Wizards of Bling giveaway that I won a few months ago (back in March I think?). This one is called Earthen Opal, it is a gorgeous rusty red color with a gold shimmer running through it. Like the other polish, it took forever to dry; but this polish was opaque after 2-3 coats. It looks amazing paired with golds. Do you like it too?

China Glaze Pool Party
Hi everyone! Today I am bringing you the swatch of the last neon that I picked up a couple of weeks ago, China Glaze Pool Party. It is a really bright hot pink neon. It acts much like other neons, it is a litle streaky (although this one isn't too bad) and dries pretty quickly. I really love this color on my nails, and I get a lot of compliments when I wear this color. Do you have a favorite bright pink?

Sally Hansen Rose Gold Opal
Hi everyone! I got this polish a long time ago in a giveaway that I won from The Wizards of Bling. One of the two polishes that I recived was this one, it is a beautiful light baby pink with a gold shimmer running through it. It unfortunelty is sheer and it take forever to dry, but a coat of white and some patience can fix that. It is a really beautiful color that I will probably use for french manicures mostly, especially because it is so sheer. Do any of you own any polishes from the Sally Hansen Opal lines?

China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy
Edit: I freaking hate blogger! This was scheduled to go up this morning (six hours ago) and it magically switched to draft. *&^#(@#^$*@#&$#^#&*@)@ Back to the regularly scheduled programming.
Hi everyone!!! Today I am swatching for you (although I am sure that you have seen more than enough swatches of it) China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy. It is a gorgeous neon coral-y orange color. It applies much like anyother neon, it is a little streaky but once you get used to applying it you can get it to come out even. I have been loving this color in particular, I don't know why because I don't think that corals really flatter me. What do you think of it?

Seche Vite Topcoat
Hi everyone! For awhile now people have been asking me what topcoat I like the best. Now I am trying to use up the other topcoats in my collection, but Seche Vite is by far my favorite, and it is a favorite of many. It is the fastest drying topcoat that I have ever used, it dries so shiny and it really protects the polish well. The only thing that I don't like about it is the smell, but it is slight and worth getting over for the benefits of the topcoat. I really only try to use it if I have to do a quick manicure, but it will be the only topcoat out of the 7 or so that I already own that I will repurchase. What is your favorite topcoat?

Essie Wrapped in Rubies
Hi everyone! Today is another backlogged swatch (last one I promise!), this one of Essie Wrapped in Rubies. This is a much deeper and richer color than I could make my camera show. It is a beautiful blend of brown, red and gold. I think that it is kind of a sultry color, I don't know. It is a gorgeous color that I somehow managed to get a mini of, it is a gorgeous color. It applies well in 2-3 coats and dries in an acceptable amount of time. I think that I will likely sport this one more in the winter, especially on my toes. What do you think of it?

China Glaze Recycle
Hi everyone! Today I am showing you a color that people told me to buy for a long time, China Glaze Recycle. It is a beautiful grey creme polish that I desparately needed in my collection. Isn't it purdy? It applies very evenly but takes a little while to dry. Overall it is good to have a grey like this in your collection in my opinion, it is easy to wear and easy to spice up if you get bored with the color. What is your favorite grey polish?

Art Deco: Baby Pink, Bright Green, Green Glitter
Hi everyone! Today I have a batch of Art Decos to show you all. I am not going to bother to review each and every color individually like I normally do because these are very much the same. I love the brushes on these, they are super thin and relatively easy to control. The colors are very opaque and can even be used to Konad. They are fun colors and you will see them a lot in my nail art. Baby Pink has a frosty finish, Bright Green has a creme finish, and Green Glitter is well, glitter. Enjoy the swatches!

China Glaze Matte Magic
Hi everyone! I have had this product for a really long time, but I never did a review on it! So I will do it today. Anyways, this stuff is great! It is pretty much exactly the same as the Essie matte topcoat, only it was cheaper and the packaging in my opinion is cuter, although it doesn't contain as much product. This was discontinued, but if you hunt around I am sure that you may still be able to find it. I stocked up on three bottles of it myself, I never want to run out. Granted the matte trend has long since sailed, but it is still a nice way to spice up a manicure once in awhile. If you participated in the matte trend, what was your favorite matte topcoat or matte polish?

China Glaze DV8
Hi everyone! Today I have a backlogged swatch to share of China Glaze DV8. This is such a lovely holographic polish, although it is definitely the least holographic of the three that I own. It is still a gorgeous polish though, I love looking at the rainbows on my nails! I wish that my nails still looked like this though lol. It dries at a normal rate to a nice and shiny finish. This one chips on me a little bit, but it is worth it to have this color on my nails. What blue colored polishes are you all sporting this summer?

Essie Ruby Slippers
Hey everyone! Today is a polish that I managed to find a mini of, Essie Ruby Slippers. This is China Glaze Ruby Pump's chunkier sister. The color is great, but the glitter is definitely chunkier than in Ruby Pumps. This is also more of a yellow-based red to the bluer-based red in Ruby Pumps. This applies much like a traditional glitter in that it needs a few coats, but it dried nicely. It does need a thick topcoat if you want a smooth finish though. I love how this color sparkles in the sun, and it is a very pretty color. I get lots of compliments when I wear it. It is a pain to take off (like any other glitter), but it is a lovely color to have on!

Comparison: Metal Versus Plastic Konad Scraper
Hi everyone! Awhile back I got a plastic scraper because I am harsh on my Konad plates and they are pretty scratched up. I push way too hard on the plate to scrape the polish off; I can't help it. After using the plastic scraper for awhile, I can safely say that getting the plastic scraper is totally worth it. I think that it does a much better job of scraping the polish off of the plate cleanly and it scratches less than the metal one. It can still scratch your plates, but not nearly to the extent of the metal one. So if you are like me and easily scratch up your konad plates, I suggest picking up a plastic scraper. You can buy this and all of your Konad from Kathleen at OC Nail Art. This isn't a paid placement or anything; Kathleen is the freaking best! Her prices are hard to beat, but to make it better her customer service is unbeatable! She is so sweet! I am pimping her site out because I love it!

China Glaze Blue Sparrow
Hi everyone! I have been loving neons lately despite the snow, and today I wanted to share one that I picked up awhile ago, China Glaze Blue Sparrow. Why did I not get this one earlier? What was freaking wrong with me? This blue is so bright and so gorgeous! I love the sparkles in there too, it really adds depth to the color. This color applies well and dries very quickly, but again I had the same problem I had with Flying Dragon, it chips very easily on me, even with a topcoat! A lot of you did not have this problem, so I am thinking that something about my nail chemistry that doesn't like neons. I am still going to rock this color anyways! Do you have this color, do you love it too?

Maybelline Two-Timer
Hi everyone! Today I bring you an old school Maybelline that I found at the dollar store. I looked through all of the colors there and wasn't impressed, but this one caught my eye and I snatched it right up! This is a gorgeous frosty light blue with a violet flash in the bottle, although it doesn't really show up on the nail well. This polish stinks though, defintely not big three free! It is beautiful though, I really want to use this next winter for snowy manicures and nail art! Do you love this too? Did you make a dollar store haul to snap up some of these old Maybellines?

ELF Pearl
Hi everyone! Today I am bringing you a swatch from the ELF Royal Trio and today's swatch is Pearl. I have never owned a frosty white color before so this one I think will be fun for funky frenchs, but I definetly don't like the look of it alone on my nails! It is kind of sheer, this was two coats. It was kind of streaky as well; but what do you expect out of a frost? I must say though, that for $1 this is a mighty good polish! I hope that I can find good use for it!

OPI Mad As A Hatter
Hi everyone! I know that this color came out awhile back and I swatched this a long time ago, but I am wearing it right now because today is my birthday! Yay! I couldn't think of a better color in my collection to wear for my 20th birthday. Sadly I don't really get to celebrate because finals are approaching fast; but at least I can wear fun polish right? I love all of the different colors in this polish. It applied well after 3 coats and of course it is a huge pain to get off. I have to use 100% acetone with this stuff lol. But it is completely worth it! What polish will you/did you wear on your birthday?

Essie Cute As A Button
Hi everyone! Today I bring you a swatch of Essie Cute As A Button, which I believe came out with Essie's Summer 2009 collection. I got it on super clearance at Trade Secret, yay for super clearance! This is a lovely color for summer; I will probably rock it a lot this coming spring and summer. It is a beautiful pinky-coral color that is a little sheer. This took about 3 coats to acheive almost no visible nail line.
I have never really tried Essie pinks before, although I have a couple of other Essies from before I got this one. This wasn't as sheer as I thought it would be, I have heard nightmare stories about some Essie pinks. I really like this color, do you as well?

Essie Rose Bowl
Hey everyone! Today I am bringing you a swatch of a really fun color that I found in a mini! This is Essie's Rose Bowl, and I really like this color a lot. It is a very dark pink; almost red but not quite. It is also very pigmented; I am used to sheers from Essie but it was essentially opaque in one coat, I only did two for good measure. I got a very even application with a decent drying time and I just love this color. I don't know, I can't get over it! To me it just screams summer, which is on my mind since the weather where I am is finally getting really nice. What is your favorite dark pink color?

CHI Hot Ring Illusion Around Saturn
Hello everyone! Did you know that CHI makes polish? Yes, the same company that makes those famous hair straighteners and other hair products also bring you "Ceramic Nail Laquer". Don't ask me what that means, because I don't know. This is the last polish from the lovely Kellie from Also Known As that I am reviewing from our awesome swap. When I first saw this polish, I immediately thought of my Australis Emerald Star nail polish, they look very similar in the bottle. The colors are very similar, but the Australis is definetly a duochrome whereas this one only has a slight shimmer of green in the teal.
It applied alright, this swatch took three coats and turned out nicely. It dried a little slowly but other than that it is a nice polish. I *think* that you can find these at Ulta, but I am not entirely sure. Have you tried any CHI polishes? Did you even know that CHI made polish?
