Halloween Nails: Spider Webs

Hey everyone, today is the last day of Halloween nail art and I saved my favorite for last!. This turned out nicely for the most part, I am still having a smidge of trouble handling thin brushes but I am improving I think!

I used OPI Black Oynx as the base black, Art Deco Silver for the webs and Art Deco Silver Glitter for the sparkle factor; I was going for a "wet" sort of look with the glitter. Of course you can't see it because I had to take the picture indoors; but then again I didn't put that much glitter on. I only put glitter on the main strands of the web, not on the little curved connecting bits. So what is the verdict, creepy or cute?

Halloween Nails: Candy Corn

Hey everyone! I apologize in advance for the lack of cleanup, the sun was going down fast and I needed to get the shot! I got lots of compliments on these nails! I actually really hate candy corn, it tastes like vomit to me. But they are cute little candies aren't they?

I used OPI Alpine Snow, OPI Brights Power, and Sinful Colors Canary Yellow.

Halloween Nails: Bewitching Sky

I loved the concept of this, it reminds me of a Halloween sky. The moons are okay, but I love how the stars turned out! I got a few compliments on this mani, so it must be okay, right? It reminds me of witches too, it screams Halloween to me! Does it scream Halloween to you?

The polish may be a little lumpy; but don't my cuticles look gobs better?!? I have been trying to take really good care of them, but it is hard for me because I am a bad cuticle biter when I am stressed out.

I used China Glaze Harmony as the purple and Art Deco Silver for the stars and moons.

Halloween Nails: Spiders

Aren't they cute? Well, the ones that aren't a mess! This was harder to do than I thought, but I like to post my failures to show how poorly I really do nails lol. I do like the ones on the thumb and index fingers though, they look so evil and cute!

I used Wet 'n Wild Nocturnal for the base color (I know it looks black, but it's like a dark blurple), Art Deco Silver for the webs and spiders, and OPI Big Apple Red for their evil eyes. Not my best work I know; but I liked the idea.

Halloween Nails: Pumpkins!

Hello everyone! Today is the start of a segment that I am doing through Friday, Halloween-themed nail art! I have decided that I want to do these types of things during holidays, this Halloween will feature 5 different nail art designs that I sport all week! Today we begin with pumpkins!

This didn't actually turn out as well as I had hoped. Two people thought they were strawberry nails. Does orange get more orange than that?!? I don't have round nails so it was hard to create the illusion of roundness, but I didn't want to use a dark contour color because that would look strange. So in the end I used OPI Brights Power as the orange base, Art Deco Gold Glitter to create a sparkly and slight contouring effect, and OPI Green-wich Village for the leaves on the pumpkins. Does it look like pumpkins or am I just psycho?
